I always think of Spike Lee as neo-Fuller (tabloid, shit-talking topicality), minus an experience comparable to the Faulkenau death camps to temper his cynicism and instinct for shrill heckling.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;As for &lt;I&gt;The Baron of Arizona&lt;/I&gt;, I think you missed the sheer entertainment value of that flick. It was a real crowd-pleaser when I saw it with a packed house at AMMI-- possibly the most entertaining B-movie I've seen. Vincent Price's performance is pure quiet madness, charisma, sociopathy. This flick is probably more appropriate for a Price collection, as it does seem out of step with Fuller's more ambitious work.
