Directorama: "Epilogue"

A Weekly Webcomic by Peet Gelderblom

[Editor's Note: This is the final episode of Directorama. I want to extend my deepest thanks to Peet for his efforts, his commitment and his insightful sense of humor, which I'd personally put up there with Bill Watterson, Hergé and the Termite Terrace contingent. Hope you'll share your thoughts in the comments section.—Keith Uhlich]

Given our condemnation of society's embrace of a phenomenally stupid film this week, this couldn't be more timely.

Bless you, Peet. I've always enjoyed the story of Directorama, even if I was a little harsh in my review way back when.

Reminded me of this, also today:

An enormous Thank You should go out to Keith Uhlich, my very patient editor here at The House, for spotting all my embarasing speling errrorrs and putting up with endless "minor revisions" (even long after the publishing date). You were the best partner in crime I could hope for, my friend.

I hope you all enjoyed this series as much as I loved putting it together. Keep checking www.directorama.net for news about a "Directorama Complete" book collection... but first things first: I have a short film to direct!

Principal photography of Out of Sync (Dutch title: Los) is due next week. Watch the teaser trailer on Facebook:

I'm sad to see this strip go, I've really loved it right along. It's funny: I'm a comic fan and love the strip form, but Directorama, along with Achewood, has been one of the very few modern comic strips I actually enjoy reading. I've been coming to a movie website to get my comic fix.

Great job, Peet, and thanks to Keith for hosting this.
