Hey Gang,

We're back with our 11th (ok, 10th) episode and it is a shocking revelation. Sure, we're as surprised as you that we're still doing this, but without this podcast we'd go hungry. Well—ok, Vadim would. He feeds off your emotions, I feed off Grassroots' liquor. We're like a cinephilic fanboy shark.

And what better way to celebrate than discuss Speed Racer, the fear of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (before all the review/release hoopla began) and even welcoming our new overlord: 3D cinema. But wait, to prove the second verse is the same as the first, what better way to celebrate all these topics than with our special guests Odie "Odienator" Henderson and THND founder Matt Zoller Seitz.

Surprising to no one, we wound up spending quite bit of time at Grassroots and outlasted two tables of overtly confused yipsters as we cackled over Cookie Monster impersonations, 3D dreams and coming to terms with why we're excited for Indy 4 even if Spielburg is utterly neurotic about controlling his franchises. But we love ya anyway, Stevie.

So it's without further ado I present to you Episode 11—the single longest episode we've done yet—"Matt Zoller Seitz' scarily accurate Cookie Monster impersonation." Because once you hear "Cookie, Good!" you'll do an audio double-take.

Special thanks again to Odie—for telling us the horrors of frats and "ultimate fighting"—and Matt for coming out and joining us.

As always, if you ever see Vadim or me at the bar, buy us a drink. Seriously. Eleven episodes in, we're due for a free drink. We're even considering advertising. Especially if you're advertising booze, loose morals or Yakitori Taisho. (JL)

This was great.

I still frequent AICN. I was there in late 1995 when Harry used to just post stuff on newsgroups, and have stuck with him through the first version of the site, and the many incarnations thereafter. His book is great in recounting the early days of internet "scoop sites," when the studios didn't know what to do with them. I have talked to him many times, and he is a genuinely nice guy. For me, most of the time, that's all that matters.

Love the Cookie Monster bit (Cookies - "Can you dig it?"). Have you ever seen The League of Gentlemen? There's a character called Papa Lazarus who has a similar modus operandi.

Good luck with both your projects, Matt.
